Created by the minds at LESSUHCHUCK.com, the design is based on the focal plane symbol you might find on your camera.  The symbol designates the place where light is recorded; a surface where when shutter opens – a tiny slice of life is saved.

The designer (whom I can’t thank enough!) put forth so many great ideas that it was a challenge to choose.  As I opened the draft of what was to become the final, it wasn’t even a question.  Loves it.

Way back just before Valentine’s day this year, I had a chance snap fun photos of my friend and mom-to-soon-be.  No preparations, just a quick shoot for proof-of-belly. Happy to report that baby is doing superb. And quite possibly the funniest, most bouncy baby boy ever.

This regular Friday night became super-special with a celebration of love.  A serious local heat wave set the outdoors temp to “sauna”.  It was 29C according to a thermometer but with humidity it felt like 43C.  43!!!!  It made no difference.  So much fun-fun, loud laughter, great music, yum food; everyone was so smiley happy and having a great time you would have thought the backyard was blasting central AC.  It’s great to see family ‘n friends get together and see pure joy expressed.  Here’s a few of my favourites from the night.

Shot down by the ocean lake, Y & R (yup…like the soap!) wanted to incorporate water into their engagement photos.  I had shot there not long before this day (as you can probably tell by the header image above…until it gets updated!) and thought it would be a great place to have the couple looking out across the waters of a Great Lake. Can’t wait till the wedding!
